The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to describe how this Site is managed, with reference to the processing of Personal Data of users/visitors (hereinafter the “user” or the “data subject”) consulting it who access the functionalities provided by the platform. This information is also provided pursuant to the applicable legislation on the protection of Personal Data, including Article 13 of the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (hereinafter, for brevity the “Regulation”).

  1. The Personal Data that the Owner collects through the Site www.glos.it are:
  2. (a) Data related to the operation of this Site. All websites operated by GLOS S.r.l. are hosted and backed up daily on Kajabi, LLC's hosting server, 15495 Sand Canyon Ave Suite # 300- Irvine, California 92618, which in turn manages and protects User Data in accordance with its privacy policy.   3. b) Common Personal Data of users of the Site such as first name, last name, e-mail address and telephone number for requesting a business contact in the “request information” and “contact us now” areas of the Site as well as for registering and accessing their personal account through the “login” page of the Site. Nowhere on the Site will the owner process special categories of Data within the meaning of Article 9 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679.

PURPOSE OF PROCESSING AND LEGAL BASIS

  • Personal Data freely provided by the data subject are collected and processed for the following purposes:
  • to ensure the security of the site, check its proper functioning and obtain statistics in relation to its use;
  • providing feedback to requests for information and execution of pre-contractual measures;
  • performance of a contract to which the data subject is a party therein including fulfillment of legal obligations related thereto;

The legal bases legitimizing the processing are:

the legitimate interest of the Controller, for direct marketing or for activities related to the recovery of overdue credit (paras. 3a, 3d and 3g);

the performance of a contract to which the user is a party or the execution of pre-contractual measures taken at the user's request (paras. 3b and 3c);

The consent of the data subject (par. 3e);

The fulfillment of legal obligations to which the data controller is subject (par. 3f).

NATURE OF CONFERMENT

The conferment of Data with respect to the indicated purposes is optional, but any refusal will result in the impossibility for the Data Controller to carry out any contractual or pre-contractual commitment.

The provision of Personal Data for the purposes set out in paragraphs 3a is mandatory without prejudice to what is also set out in the Site's cookie policy.

The provision of Personal Data for the purposes set out in paragraphs 3b and 3c is mandatory and necessary for the fulfillment of your requests and for the execution of pre-contractual measures or a contract to which you are a party. Any refusal to provide Personal Data will make it impossible for the Data Controller to continue the relationship.

The processing of Personal Data for the purposes referred to in paragraphs 3d, 3e is optional. Any partial or total refusal to process the Data for this purpose will result in the impossibility for the Data Controller to follow up on the related activities.

 

Your Data will not be disclosed but, for the purposes indicated above and in compliance with the principles of the Regulation, may be communicated to: other employees of the Company, its collaborators, consultants and professionals, qualified third parties including marketing or web marketing companies, internet platforms and providers or other external parties in their capacity as Autonomous Holders and/or external data processors, the list of which is available at the holder's office.

DATA TRANSFER

The Data are processed at the operational offices of the Data Controller and in any other place where the parties involved in the processing are located. For further information you may contact the Data Controller.

If, for technical and/or operational issues, it becomes necessary to use parties located outside the European Union, we inform you as of now that such parties will be appointed as Data Processors pursuant to and for the purposes of Article 28 of the Regulations or as Co-Processors pursuant to Article 26 of the Regulations and the transfer of Personal Data to such parties, limited to the performance of specific Processing activities, will be regulated in accordance with the provisions of Chapter V of the Regulations. Therefore, all necessary precautions will be taken in order to ensure the most complete protection of the Personal Data of the Data Subject. The Company also uses cloud services provided by third country companies recognized as adequate in terms of Data Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability.

PROCESSING METHODS AND DATA RETENTION PERIOD

  • Personal Data will be processed by the Company with computer and paper systems in accordance with the principles of fairness, loyalty and transparency provided by the applicable legislation on the protection of Personal Data and protecting your confidentiality and your rights by adopting appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure a level of security appropriate to the risk. Data is processed and stored for the time required by the purposes for which it was collected. Therefore:
  • Personal Data collected for purposes related to the performance of a contract between the Data Controller and the User will be retained until the performance of that contract is completed.
  • Personal Data collected for purposes related to the legitimate interest of the Data Controller will be retained until such interest is satisfied. The User may obtain further information regarding the legitimate interest pursued by the Controller in the relevant sections of this document or by contacting the Controller.

When processing is based on the User's consent, the Data Controller may keep the Personal Data longer until such consent is revoked. In addition, the Controller may be required to retain Personal Data for a longer period in compliance with a legal obligation or by order of an authority.

At the end of the retention period, the Personal Data will be deleted.

PROFILING

The owner does not use automated processes aimed at profiling.

COOKIES AND SIMILAR TECHNOLOGIES

The computer systems and software procedures used to operate this Website acquire, in the course of their normal operation, some Personal Data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols.

This information is not collected to be associated with identified interested parties, but by its very nature could, through processing and association with Data held by third parties, allow users to be identified.
